Job Description:

The Head of Sales & Marketing of Solar Operations has overall responsibility for establishing and coordinating all marketing and sales strategies, plans, programs, and functions of the Solar Operations. Manages the sales and marketing of the company’s CleanTech products. This position will work closely with executives in Asia and our US office.

Required Skills:

-Must have residential and small business solar system sales experience.

-5+ years of relevant experiences in sales and marketing in the solar field.

-Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people are essential. -Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience and comfort with large data sets and strong data analytics skills. -Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment.

-Experience of and proven ability to be successful in a complex, globally scaled product, sales and engineering environment, planning and managing at both the strategic and operational level.

-Organized, detail-oriented, strategically focused.

-Distinctive analytical skills and superior ability to present to executives and communicate with highly technical management team.

Job Duties:

-Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.

-Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets.

-Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.

-Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

-Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.

-Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

-Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.

-Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.

-Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.

-Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.

-Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

-Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.

-Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.

-Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
